Alumni and friends met at the home of Robert and Laura Grant Dillard ’77 for the Winston-Salem Chapter Event.  Dr. Patricia Koplas, professor of Biology discussed teaching in the Core Program, which educates students for noble lives, productive careers and responsible citizenship.

Greenville area alumni and friends enjoyed a luncheon held at the Poinsett Club.  News about developments on campus was shared, and Dr. Goode, McMahon Professor of English and North Carolina Professor of the Year gave an entertaining talk entitled, “War of the Words.”

Atlanta, GA

Over 25 Queens alumni and friends gathered for an Atlanta Chapter Event at the home of Penny Pennington O’Callaghan ’78.  Attendees heard the latest news from campus,  and Dr. Dr. Goode, McMahon Professor of English and North Carolina Professor of the Year, gave an entertaining talk entitled, “War of the Words.”

Raleigh, NC

Over 25 Queens alumni and friends gathered for a Raleigh Chapter Event at the home of Carl and Peggy Thomas Hibbert '69.  Attendees enjoyed a wine and cheese reception followed by an entertaining talk entitled, "Recipe for Disaster: Hollywood and Science" by special faculty guest, Dr. Greg Pillar, Professor of Environment Science.
