If you liked Wendy Waite's limericks, you will love "Wendy Waite: Collected Works". When she died last year, Professor Waite left behind an extraordinary array of poems, essays, speeches, and stories, many of which have now been gathered into a beautiful new book edited by her husband, Dr. Jonathan Murray, and published by Otter Press. On the cover is a lithograph by Waite’s friend and colleague Jayne Johnson, Professor of Art at Queens University of Charlotte.
This book is not available for sale. Instead, Dr. Murray is offering it as a gift to anyone who contributes $25 or more to the Wendy Waite Scholarship Fund, which he has established in his wife's memory. By the end of this year, he hopes to have raised $100,000 so that the fund can begin supporting scholarships for Communication majors planning careers in journalism. The fund is currently a little over half-way to that goal.
