A matching gift is one that a company donates to match the charitable gift of an employee to their alma mater. If you or your spouse work for a matching gift company, your gift could double or even triple in amount, depending on your company's matching gift policy.
The matching gift procedure is simple. If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer's human resources or benefits office and send it completed and signed, with your gift, to Queens' Development Resources office. Queens will do the rest! You may send the matching gift form at any time throughout the year, even if you've already made your gift to Queens.
If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest. The impact of your gift may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.
